Setting up a store

A new store can be connected to an existing ESL-Easy installation with little effort, no extra servers or special hardware are needed on site.

What’s needed on site

• Access points that communicate with the labels via Bluetooth and with the ESL-Easy server via LAN. Any number can be deployed per location; ESL-Easy automatically picks a suitable one and, where possible, switches to another in case of failure.
• Mobile devices on WLAN for setting up and linking labels via the ESL-Easy Mobile app.

No further hardware or software is required on site, the central ESL-Easy installation can also serve a large number of locations at once.

Bringing new labels into service

Each new label registers once online with the EWS key server and is permanently assigned to that installation. After this one-time registration, no permanent internet connection is required for ongoing operation.
