Linking a label

A label is linked to a product once in the ESL-Easy Mobile app, from then on it automatically follows every price change from your inventory management system.

Step by step

  1. Open the app and confirm the location. The app automatically detects the store via the local WLAN, preventing a label from being linked to the wrong location.
  2. Scan or enter the label ID. The label’s unique ID is scanned with the camera or entered manually.
  3. Assign a product. The desired product is looked up in your inventory management system and assigned to the label.
  4. Link. From this moment on, the label shows the current price and automatically follows every later change, regardless of location.

Useful while setting up

  • Make a label blink: A linked label can be made to blink at the tap of a button to help you find it on the shelf.
  • Check status: A label’s link, battery level, and radio quality can be checked in the app at any time.
  • Unlink: A label can just as easily be detached from a product again, for example when a shelf is reorganized.
